Patricia Catherine (Ferry) McGranaghan, 90, of Wilbraham, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025. Born in Simsbury, CT to the late James and Catherine (Flannery) Ferry, Pat dedicated her life to caring for others. A graduate of Middlesex Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, she was a compassionate Registered Nurse. Pat's life was defined by her faith, family, friends and joy in simple pleasures. A faithful communicant of St. Cecilia Church in Wilbraham, she loved gardening, playing golf, skiing and any time on Cape Cod. She was always happiest surrounded by her loved ones.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Joseph T. McGranaghan, Sr. and her cherished daughter Kathleen McGranaghan, as well as her sister Barbara Andrews. She leaves behind her children: daughters Patricia Murphy and her husband John of Wilbraham, Ann Bernardi and her husband Joseph of Glastonbury, CT, and her son, Joseph T. McGranaghan, Jr. of Boxborough, MA. She is also survived by her dearest sister Elaine Bruenn of Cheshire, CT; her ten beloved grandchildren; Brendan, Declan, Justin, Benjamin, Hugh, Patrick, Michael, Emmett, Robert and Alexandra, as well as two great grandchildren; Sophie and Logan.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 5, 2025 at 10 am at St. Cecilia Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilbraham Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Pat may be made St. Cecilia Church Hope at Home Ministry or the charity of your choice.
