Myers, Patricia March 5,1943 - August 22, 2025
Patricia (Patti) Myers, 82, of Swartz Creek, Michigan passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, at Charter Senior Living Center in Davison, MI. A celebration of her life will be held at 11AM on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at United in Christ Lutheran Church, G-6330 Corunna Road, Flint, MI. Pastor Steve Stahlhut officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until service time at the church. Interment will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint.
Patricia Alice was born on March 5, 1943, to Frank W. and Ella A.(Menzel) Peplinski. After graduating with high honors from Utley High School in 1961, Patti continued her education at Central Michigan University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education. She later achieved her master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University. Patti was a teacher of Mathematics for over 30 years until her retirement.
Patti was known for her zest for life. She enjoyed biking, snow skiing, water skiing, traveling, reading, gardening and music. She also had a huge heart which was evident in her Lutheran church membership, decades of volunteering for the Red Cross, adoption of Grey Hounds, working with the rescue mission and lending a hand to those in need. She loved her family, friends, and was always ready for a trip to visit those that she loved and enjoyed spending time with. Patti will be greatly missed by all that know her.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father Frank W. Peplinski, her mother Ella A. Peplinski, and her brother Frank E. Peplinski. She is survived by her nephews Frank C. (Jean) Peplinski of North Branch MI, Steven W (Jean) Peplinski of Brighton MI, and niece Lori L. (Myron) Morse of Columbus, NE. Great nieces Tianna (Douglas Jr.) Fenlon, Nicole (Adam) Toole, Brandi (Chris) Detloff, Heather (Jordan) Foon, Matthew (Rebecca) Peplinski, Samuel (Riley) Morse, Jordan (Esther) Morse, Jacob (Grace) Morse and Aaron Morse. 11 great great nieces and nephews and several special cousins.
In lieu of flowers, plants and plaques, please contribute to United in Christ Lutheran Church, or the Franklin Avenue Mission, Flint MI. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
