Patricia Rose Nelson

Patricia Rose Nelson, 83, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Born on May 12, 1942, in Mellen, Wisconsin, Patricia was the devoted daughter of Donald and Margaret Skaag Lanhart.
Patricia's life was defined by her compassion, humor, and love for family. After earning her nursing degree from Yavapai Community College, she dedicated her career to caring for others, bringing comfort and laughter to both patients and colleagues. Her gentle nature and quick wit touched all who knew her.
Patricia was a devoted wife to the late Clarence Nelson and a loving mother to four children: Jerry Nelson and Jennifer Stanford, who survive her, and the late Bobby Nelson and Vicki Gilchirst. She will also be fondly remembered by her siblings Dick, Mickey, Dave, and Dawn Marie, and is reunited in peace with her brother Lee.
Outside her nursing career, Patricia found joy in sewing and quilting, often creating quilts for charitable causes and community groups.
