Patricia Nevin Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Frederick Funeral Home on Dec. 6, 2025.
In loving memory of Patricia Clare Nevin, who was born on July 26, 1934, in Cincinnati, OH, and was the cherished daughter of the late Joseph John Herlinger and Myrl L. Walker. Patricia peacefully passed away on December 5, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Her gentle spirit and unwavering love will forever be remembered as a beacon of light for all who knew her.

Patricia is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Thomas Nevin, whose memory she held dear throughout their years together. Their love blossomed into a warm and nurturing home, where Patricia embraced her role as a loving mother to Teresa (Mark) Hardesty, Michael (Deana) Koon, Timothy (Lynn) Koon, and Christopher Koon. She extended her love to her stepchildren, Alison Nevin, Stephanie (Gary) Niemeier, Michael (Meg) Nevin, Cyndi Myers, and Bruce (Davalyn) Nevin. She was a proud grandmother to 16 and a cherished great-grandmother to 18, inspiring joy and happiness in their lives. Patricia was also a dear sister of Sue Reichert and was preceded in death by her siblings, Joe Herlinger, Richard Herlinger, Jim Herlinger, Martha Moody, and Bobby Herlinger. Patricia will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family, and her memory will live on through stories filled with love and laughter.

Patricia was a devoted member of Corpus Christi Church for over 55 years, where her unwavering faith provided her with strength and guidance throughout her life. As a resident of Colerain Township for more than 50 years, she immersed herself in her community, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a deep passion for gardening, where she tended to her plants with the same care and affection she offered her family. The beauty she cultivated in her garden reflected her nurturing spirit, as she always cherished the moments spent with loved ones. Patricia also held a special place in her heart for her beloved poodles, nurturing numerous furry companions since the late 1970s, including her dear poodle, Princess, who provided her with so much love and loyalty.

Family gatherings were the highlight of Patricia's life, as they brought her immense happiness, allowing her to create lasting memories with those she loved. Her warmth, kindness, and laughter will linger in the hearts of those she has left behind, reminding us all of the beauty of family and compassion.

In honor of Patricia's life, a visitation will be held at Corpus Christi Church, located at 2014 Springdale Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231 on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 9:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM. Family and friends are invited to come together in remembrance of Patricia, celebrating her life and the beautiful impact she had on all of us.

As we gather to celebrate her remarkable life, we will reflect on the countless memories of joy and love she shared and the indelible mark she leaves on all our hearts. Patricia's spirit will forever remain a guiding light in our lives, and her memory will continue to inspire love and togetherness in our families.
