Patricia Parenti Obituary
Of Braddock, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 4, 2025 at The Inn at Poland Way in Ohio.
Born the daughter of the late Isaac Edge and the late Julia (Hustek) Edge.
She was the Beloved wife of the late Vincent "Jim" Parenti and Loving mother of Patricia (Thomas) Flaherty of Monroeville and Kristin (Michael) Granchay of Poland, OH.
She is survived by her sister, Nancy (the late Jim) Ruccio. Preceded in death by her sister, Genevieve Pisarcik.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and her grand-puppy, Winston. Preceded in death by her grand-pup, Brady.
Pat was a graduate of Braddock High School. She was employed for over 20 years as a secretary for Allegheny County Health and Human Services. Pat was a devout Catholic and an enthusiastic volunteer within the cafeterias of St. Thomas, St. Michael and St. Brendan Schools in Braddock. She also dedicated time to caring for the families that were affected by the devastating crash of Flight 427 in Hopewell Township.
Pat found joy in reading books, completing puzzles, playing bingo, a good game of cards (that she usually won) and most of all, spending time with her children.
Friends are welcome on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in Good Shepherd Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
Pat will be laid to rest in Monongahela Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of The Inn at Poland Way for the excellent care and friendship over the years.
