Mrs. Bettie Ann Parenti, 78, of Huguenot, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Westchester Medical Center. Born on September 3, 1946, in Middletown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Masker and Ethel (Sargeant) Masker. Bettie was a devoted wife to Lou Parenti, with whom she shared 20 happy years of marriage until his passing on February 20, 2024. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and the warmth she brought to all who knew her. As her family lovingly shared, "Fly high, sweet angel. Forever our Betty Boop." She is survived by her stepchildren: Carol Wilkinson, Kathryn Colon and her husband David, and Amy Parenti. She is also survived by her siblings: Alfred Masker and his wife Madeline, Carol Parenti, Gloria Comfort, and Mary Didomenico and her husband Vinnie. Bettie was a cherished grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren and loving aunt to many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Alvin Masker and Mildred Wilson. At Bettie's request, there will be no public visitation. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Her ashes will be laid to rest at Pine Hill Cemetery, Middletown, NY at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation in Bettie's name may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 1100, Syracuse, NY 13201-1100, www.cancer.org.
