Susan Lee Batykefer, 62, of Greenville Township, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 14, 1962, in Ridgewood, NJ, she was the daughter of Barbara (Cocchi) Konikowski and the late Anthony Konikowski. Susan was married to the love of her life, Scott Batykefer, in September 1980 in Long Lake, Minnesota. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and dedication. She worked for many years as a nursing assistant in New Jersey, and was also employed by Up John. Her caring nature and strong work ethic left a lasting impact on those she worked with and cared for. Susan faced her long battle with strength and grace. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan for their compassionate care and support. She is survived by her devoted husband, Scott Batykefer, of Greenville Township; her children: Barbara Baka of Pennsylvania, Scott Batykefer Jr. of Pennsylvania, Carl Batykefer, Victoria Batykefer, and Brooklyn Batykefer, all of New York; her beloved mother, Barbara Konikowski of Pennsylvania; her brother, Robert Konikowski, and his wife Marion of New York; brother-in-law Donald Wieboldt of New York; and brother-in-law Robert Batykefer of Pennsylvania. She was a proud grandmother to Jarett Baka, Ryan Baka, and Jessie Batykefer. Susan was predeceased by her sister, Joanne Wieboldt, her father-in-law Robert Batykefer, and her mother-in-law Carol Batykefer. In keeping with Susan's wishes, there will be no public visitation. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
Cremation was held at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, PA.
