Funeral services for Patricia Ann Hemmings (Patsy), 83, will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Rd. in Shreveport. A visitation will be held on Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Officiating the service will be Brother Tommy Patton.
 
Patsy was born on September 25, 1940, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Glassell and Irmadine Davidson and passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
 
Patsy was a resident of Bossier City. She graduated from Fair Park High School in 1958 and attended Louisiana Tech University. She worked as a secretary for Huntington High School, Tarrant County Junior College, and Hideaway Baptist Church. She had a passion for flowers, horses, yoga, exercising, church, playing the piano, and family.
 
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Glassell and Irmadine Davidson; and husband, Terence Hemmings. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Patrick Hemmings and wife, Jennifer; daughter, Stacey Berry; grandson, Caleb Hemmings; sister, Gloria Huckabee; granddaughters, Haley Hemmings, Brooke Landman, and Maggie Landman; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
 
The family suggests memorials may be made to Cypress Baptist Church.
