Patricia A. Pawlus, 69, of Coal Valley, Illinois, died Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City.

The family will be planning a Celebration of Life in Patty’s honor at a later date. Cremation was provided by Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home, Coal Valley.

Patricia Ann Davis was born May 22, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of William and Rosemary (Tarant) Davis. She is a 1973 graduate of Glenbard East High School and a proud member of Glenbard East’s choir. She married Henry Pawlus in September, 1973 and the couple enjoyed camping and traveling together spending time at their home away from home in Woodhaven Lakes, and winters in Key West throughout their 47 years of marriage. Pat also loved spending time with her family, siblings and nieces and nephews.

Pat is survived by her loving parents, William and Rosemary Davis of Lombard, Illinois; siblings, Carol (Allen) Dutra of Florida, Elaine (Raymond) O’Connor of Huntley, Illinois, Maryrose (Lonnie) Smith of Plainfield, Illinois, and Edward Davis of Lombard, Illinois and niece Amy (Richard) Shenberg, nephews Alan (Tia) Moore, Joseph Dutra (Savanna), Donny Dutra, Michael Dutra, great niece Isabelle Shenberg and great nephew Jhonen Moore. She was preceded in passing by her husband Hank (December 2020).
