Patricia Ann Pease

Patricia Percy Pease, 84, passed away on November 21, 2025 in Katy, Texas. She was born on August 3, 1941 to the late Edward Percy and Evelyn Percy of Hammondsport, N.Y. Patricia is survived by her brother, Donald Percy (Jeanie) of Jacksonville, FL. She graduated from Hammondsport Central School in 1959 and Corning Community College in 1961. She enjoyed being a Girl Scout for 15 years in Hammondsport.

Patricia was married to her loving husband, Dale Pease. She met Dale when he came to teach at Hammondsport Central School where Patricia was a secretary to the Guidance Director and High School Principal. She is survived by her son Michael Pease of Waller, TX, and a daughter Kelly Pruett of Oskaloosa, IA. Family was always important to Patricia as she cherished the times when family would come together to celebrate holidays, picnics, etc. Spending time with the cousins, nieces and nephews, grandparents, aunts and uncles were all times of such joy.

Patricia always said her life with Dale was like a storybook as so many chapters happened like an amazing novel from a phone call changing their life forever, to selling their homes and moving to meet the next challenge in their lives. She worked in the public schools as a secretary for over 30 years in Hammondsport, NY, Morrisville, NY, Tallahassee, FL, Ames, IA and Katy, TX.

Patricia and her family lived in Katy, TX for 30 years in the same house. Katy was a great city to raise her family, and the school district was very good for her two children, Mike and Kelly. Dale worked at the University of Houston giving him a long drive every day. Patricia enjoyed cooking for her family, growing vegetables in the garden and planting many flowers to enjoy all year. She loved her cats and dogs that were a special part of her life.

Patricia loved the travelling they did as a family with their son, Mike. They loved to travel to the mountains and have wonderful memories of these most cherished times spent together. Dale and Patricia also went on several cruises and bus trips together, which were such a joyful time.
