Patricia Ann Plott, age 88, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Stonehenge Assisted Living. She was a native of Towns County. She was born on August 25, 1936, in Hiawassee, Georgia, to the late Ed Hedden and Ellen Belle Stroud Hedden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Plott. Patricia was a long-time member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Blairsville, Georgia.
Patricia was also preceded in death by siblings: brothers, Ket Hedden, Paul Hedden, Douglas Hedden, and Edward Hedden; sisters, Peggy McClure, Mary Shook, Joyce Mills, Dottie Hedden, Ellen Sue Wilson, Kate Waldrop, and Virginia Segars.
She is survived by her son Michael (Donna) Plott of Blairsville, Georgia. Grandchildren, Dale :(Laura) Stanley and Dean (Sharon) Stanley; Great Grandchildren, Colton (Yazi) Stanley, Kyndal Stanley, and Nathan Stanley. Great Great Grandchildren, Ryder Stanley, Regan Stanley, Rylee Stanley, Colby Burnette, and Corbin Burnette. Many additional nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Cochran -McDaniel Funeral Home in Blairsville, Georgia, with Preacher George Cline officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Union Memory Gardens.
The family will be sharing in a time of visitation on Sunday evening, August 10, 2025, from 6pm until 8pm at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home in Blairsville, Georgia.
