Patricia J. Price

Patricia "Patty" Price, a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on January 14, 2026, in Blackwood, NJ. Born on November 18, 1950, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late James, Jr and Jeannette Price. Patty grew up in a loving family alongside her brother, James Price, III, who survives her, along with his wife Charlotte, and their daughter Jeanine.

Patty's career was a testament to her intelligence and adaptability. She began her professional journey as a key punch operator for RCA, navigating through the company's transitions to General Electric and finally Lockheed Martin. Her dedication and expertise were evident throughout her 39-year tenure, culminating in her retirement in 2010. Patty's work ethic and commitment to excellence left a lasting impact on her colleagues and the industry.

Beyond her professional achievements, Patty was deeply involved in her community. She served on the Gloucester Township Scholarship Committee and was an active member of the Blackwood Kiwanis. Her contributions to the community were recognized when she proudly received the "Gloucester Township Women Who Make a Difference" award. Patty's generosity extended beyond her professional and community service.

Patty's personal interests were as diverse as they were engaging. She was an avid mahjong player and enjoyed the thrill of a day at the casino. Her artistic side shone through in her love for counted cross stitch. Patty also cherished her family's history, eagerly anticipating the annual Hurff Family Reunion and serving diligently as the Secretary of the Hurff Family Association.

As we bid farewell to Patricia "Patty" Price, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by achievement, service, and unwavering kindness. Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Patty's visitation is scheduled for Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012. Her service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Inurnment at Blackwood Presbyterian Cemetery, 21 E. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012.
