Patricia passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at MyMichigan Medical Center at the age of 91. The daughter of the late Albert and Velma (Baker) Smith was born August 28, 1933 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Patricia was a proud member of Grace United Methodist Church. During her life she enjoyed playing golf, archery, ice skating, camping and blue grass music, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Patricia is survived by her children, Kimberly (Kim) Hubbard, Karen (Phil) Rupp, Kellie Wascher, Kayla Pockrandt, Mark (Marilyn) Puffer and Beckie (Scott) Hoffman; grandchildren, April (Bob) Arndt, Michelle Campbell, Michael Campbell, Haley (Bryce) Gore, Alice Rupp, Barrie Rupp, Alex Wascher, Wesley Wascher, Cory Hearns and Jenny Hearns; great grandchildren, Bobby Arndt, Olivia Arndt, William Livingston, Allen Gore and Ren Hearns and her special niece, Bonnie Koskinen. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Mike Puffer; brother, Albert “Butch” Smith Jr.; sister, Nancy Burghdorf and her brother-in-law, Harvey Burghdorf.

A memorial service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Eric Kieb. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the Gephart Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to Shelter Angels.
