Patricia L. Shaffer

Patricia Louise Shaffer age 94 formerly of Forest, Ohio went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 8, 2025.
She was born on July 25, 1931 in Upper Sandusky Ohio to Edward and Fern (Bower) Barth, whom are deceased. She married Frank Shaffer on May 13,1950 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio and he passed away on August 6, 1998.
Pat is survived by her two daughters Beth (Denis) Gillfillan and Diane (the late Lee) Simon both of Forest, Ohio. Four grandchildren :Jeremy (Kristy) Gillfillan, Nicole (T.J.) Ledesma, Dionne (Jeffery) Staley and Lee Simon. Six Great Grandchildren: Isabella, Mia and Dayne Gillfillan, Cailyn Ledesma, and Gianna and Jocelyn Staley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law Lee Simon, and brothers Edward Barth, Bruce Barth and 2 sisters Shirley and Jean Ann Hankins.
Pat was a graduate of Upper Sandusky. Pat along with her husband owned SHAFFER Sweet Shoppe plus a ceramic shop both in Forest. She also worked for many years as a sale person for Gier T.V. She also worked in restaurants.
She was a member of Grant Fellowship Church. She served the Lord many years as Sunday School Teacher, VBS coordinator, Bible Study Leader, PPR CHAIR for church, and Girl Scout Leader.
Pat and her husband were Grand Marshall of The Tree Town Festival. Pat enjoyed reading her Bible, spending time with family and baking.
Funeral services for Pat Shaffer will be held at Grant Fellowship Church on November 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm. Pastor Cynthia Morrison and Jeremy Gillfillan will be officiating. Visitation will be held two hours before services.
A graveside service for Pat Shaffer will be held at Jackson Cemetery Forest, Ohio immediately after.
