Patricia Smith Obituary

Born October 15, 1927, in Wilkinsburg, PA, and having been raised in Pine Bluff, WV, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late Leroy Summers and Helen Virginia (Pigott) Summers. She was also preceded in death by her daughter: Kimbra Lee Smith; her husband: David Douglas Smith; and her brother: Robert Summers.
A Graduate of Shinnston High School, Class of 1946, and Potomac State College in 1951, Patricia was the Secretary/Treasurer of Smith Engineering and Machine Company, Inc., the family business. She was a 45 year volunteer of Memorial Hospital. Mom loved being on the family farm she and her husband bought, enjoying her time, especially with the numerous farm dogs that would find a home with them.
Patricia is survived by her daughter: Suzanne Denise Smith and husband, John Lueke; her son: Douglas David Smith and wife, Karen; and her grandson: Nathan A. Smith.
The family will have a Celebration of Life at the farm at a later date.
