Patricia Ann (Taylor) Stancill, born on May 25, 1946, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving children and family.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Stancill; her parents, Huel Taylor and Bessie Mae Kee Taylor; her brothers, Gary Taylor, Royce Taylor, Frankie Taylor, Donny Taylor; and her sister, Betty Haynes.
She is survived by her devoted children, Ronnie Stancill Jr. (Dianne), Missy Gravitt (Steve), and Royce Ann Awbrey. Patricia was a proud and cherished grandmother to Cameron Stancill (Mew), Kyle Awbrey, Taylor Gravitt, Jacob Stancill (Riley), Rebekah Stancill, and Tori Gravitt, and a beloved great-grandmother to Alyssa Vining, Lucy Hall, Rozalin "Pie" Shular, Waylon Arrington, Tilly Awbrey, and Calson Stancill. She is also survived by her siblings, Dewayne Taylor (Jan) and Connie England (Alan), as well as many nieces and nephews who adored her.
Patricia's life was marked by her unwavering love for her family, her warm and generous spirit, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. She created a legacy of kindness, resilience, and love that will be carried on by her family and friends.
Her family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported Patricia throughout her life and in her final days.
The family will honor Patricia's memory during a celebration of her life on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, Newnan, GA 30263, with Pastor Tony Grant officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until service time.
