It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Louise TerBush, age 59 of Flushing on April 24th, 2024. Patricia was born in Owosso, Michigan on March 24th, 1965, the daughter of Donald and Yvonne Carol (Delong) Whitcomb.
Patti had a deep love for animals, especially her orange cat "Purple", her Savannah cat "Cheetah" and her beloved miniature Yorkie "Morkie". She also had love for her many chickens and spent most of her life collecting anything and everything to do with Hershey chocolate. She loved spending time with her family and friends, her witty sense of humor and happiness could light up any room. Her infectious laughter and desire to just have fun will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Patricia dedicated many years of her life working at the post office as a mail carrier and then later on as an optical pre-test technician at riverfront optical. She touched the lives of those around her with her kindness and compassion. Her loving family and friends will cherish the memories they shared with her. Patricia's presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Rest in peace, dear Patricia. You will always be remembered and loved. A memorial service will be held 12 noon, Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Rossell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 noon. A celebration of life luncheon will follow at the Masonic Temple in Flushing.
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Jana and husband Kenny Gillespie, Sarah Lichtenfelt; grandchildren, Owen, Isabella, Elden, Ulston, Ava; mother, Carol Whitcomb; brothers, Donald "Bud" (Karen) Whitcomb, Jr., Robert (Debbie) Whitcomb; and sisters, Linda (Chuck) Adkins, Nancy (Kirk) Casper.
