She lived in Philadelphia briefly until her family moved to Clymer Lane in Leedom Estates, Pa. A graduate of Notre Dame High School, 1958. She was active in the Local Color Guard. She enjoyed going to dances at St. Gabe's with her sister Irene and cousins Jeannie and Harry Ziegenfuss.

Her favorite part of life was raising her children, learning to sew, that she learned from her Mom- In Law, Hazel Loveland.
