Patricia Ann Volpicelli

Patricia Ann (Brodeur) Volpicelli passed away peacefully on June 23, 2024, at the age of 90. Born on October 3, 1933, Patricia was a lifelong resident of her beloved hometown, where she nurtured her family with love and devotion from 1955 until her final days.
Patricia was the cherished wife of the late Robert Andrew Volpicelli Sr., to whom she was married for 63 wonderful years. Together, they built a legacy of love and commitment that served as a beacon for all who knew them. Patricia is predeceased by her son, Robert Andrew Volpicelli Jr.
Patricia is survived by her three devoted daughters: Sheila Volpicelli; Sharon Harte and her husband, John; and Janice Alger and her husband, John. She leaves behind six beloved grandchildren: Corey and Marissa Volpicelli, Robert and Michael Harte, and Amelia and Nicolas Alger. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
A woman of simple joys, Patricia found immense pleasure in knitting, reading, baking apple pies, solving jigsaw puzzles, and above all, in the company of her family. She was known for her gentle spirit, unwavering dedication as a wife and mother, and her abiding love for her grandchildren.
The Volpicelli home was a sanctuary of warmth and family gatherings, a place where countless memories were made and cherished. Her legacy of love and devotion to her family will be remembered and celebrated by all who had the privilege to know her.
A wake will be held at Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home in Millis from 4-7PM on Thursday, June 27. The funeral Mass will take place at 10 AM on Friday, June 28, at St. Joseph Parish in Medway. Internment to immediately follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Millis.
Patricia will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Thomas Upham House Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center at 519 Main St. in Medfield.
