Patricia Weihl Obituary

PATRICIA INEZ WEIHL
November 4, 1957 ˜ March 30, 2023

An adventurous spirit and a life well lived, Patti passed away peacefully at home in Palm Desert, CA, with family and friends close by. Born in Hillsboro, OR, Patti was raised and grew up in Vancouver. Attended St. Joseph’s church and school where she met many of her lifelong friends. She graduated from Fort Vancouver HS in 1976 and attended Central Washington University, before moving to Lake Tahoe.

Patti enjoyed playing piano growing up and played sports where she excelled as an athlete, a swim team member, basketball player and downhill skier.

Moving back to Vancouver from Lake Tahoe, Patti started to date and married Steve Weihl, a high school friend and classmate. She and Steve were married in Sun Valley, ID. Steve and Patti were married for 20 years when Steve preceded Patti in death, passing away in 2019. They both loved to garden, cook, snow ski, travel, camping and enjoyed attending NASCAR races together.

Patti’s professional career was as an exotic food sales representative selling to many famous chefs and restaurants. She was well known for her professionalism and commitment to her clients.

Patti loved animals and had two pets, Arnie and Deja. They were like children to her. She loved and cared deeply for them.

Patti’s celebration of life and mass will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 7, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Church, 400 S. Andresen Rd. A gathering in Marion Hall will follow after the Mass. All are invited.
