Patricia Ann Wein

Patricia Ann Wein, 82, a resident of Fort Mill, South Carolina passed away October 19th, 2025, with her daughter Tina by her side. She was born in Braeholm, West Virginia on December 7th, 1942, to James and Edith Riley.
Pat was many things to many people. She was a mom, a sister, a friend, a widower and a positive force to all that knew her. It was a rare day that she wasn't smiling. She held that characteristic all of her life. Accepting of all, kind, generous, smart and compassionate. She was easy to know and easier to love. Pat shared 57 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Charles "Chuck" Wein. Their love was deep and steady-and now, they are together again, surrounded by the many animals they rescued throughout their life together. Those who knew Pat will remember her warmth, her wisdom, and the way she made the world feel a little gentler. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles and her brothers Jim and Bob Riley.
She is survived by her daughter Tina, her sister Mary (Susie) Vanhoose, nieces Monica Tolliver and Sherry Javins-Dotson and their children Chelsea, Sami-Jo, Dylan, Carrington, Cassidy and her nephew Robert Riley and his wife Teresa and daughter Brianna.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in West Virginia.
