Patricia Kay Zue, a kind and selfless person, passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 86 in Lansing, MI. Born in Lansing, MI, on May 11, 1939, Patricia's life was a tapestry woven with love, dedication, and nurturing.
Patricia was a proud graduate of Eastern High School, where she sowed the seeds of lifelong friendships and lasting memories. Her journey continued as she entered the workforce, taking on the role of Supervisor at General Motors. Patricia's leadership at work was marked by the same care and attentiveness that she showed to her beloved garden-cultivating growth, tending to needs, and celebrating every milestone.
Family was the cornerstone of Patricia's life. She lived for the moments shared with her daughters, Julie (Andrew) Mejia and Jami Magwood. Patricia's love echoed through the generations, embracing her grandchildren, LaTisha (Matthew) Jackson-Terbrack, Jessica Savage, Cheyenne Mejia, and Alex Mejia and further blossoming with her great-grandchildren, Matthew Terbrack, Madelyn Terbrack, Airabella Taggart, Bailey Anne Davis, Elijah Thomas, and Gabriella Thomas.
Patricia's kindhearted and nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family to her brother, Paul David (Suzanne Moore) Arnold, and the many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will remember her fondly. She was a guiding light for them all, a source of unwavering support and selfless love. Patricia is now reunited with her beloved departed family members, including her parents, Paul and Edna (Lambie) Arnold, her dear daughter, Jillann (Zue) Darnell, Paul David's twin brother, Ronald Arnold and brother, Charles "Chuck" Arnold, who preceded her in death.
Patricia Kay Zue was a woman whose essence can never fully be captured with words, for her kindness was felt more than it was spoken. A guiding star to her family and all who knew her, Patricia's memory will be cherished and nurtured, much like the beautiful gardens she once tended with such affection and care.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Mills Funeral Home, Peters & Murray Chapel, 301 E. Jefferson, Grand Ledge with a visitation one hour before the service. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in loving memory of Patricia Kay Zue. I worked with Pat at GM, she was the manager and I was the union Rep. She was really good to work with. She was kind and caring. Rest in Peace, my friend. Marni Beutler

Pat was a lovely woman and worked tirelessly to help her community at Colonial Village Neighborhood Association. She was helpful, and was a friend to neighbors and helped the association survive for many years. She will be missed. I was just an acquaintance, but admired her greatly.
