Patrick Allen

Patrick J. Allen, 62, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Monday morning, November 8, 2021 at Laurel Lakes Wellness and Rehabilitation Center. Born October 10, 1959 in York, he was a son of the late Thomas E. and Barbara A. Shelton Allen. Patrick had been part owner of his family's business, the former Allen Tire and Oil in Chambersburg. He later worked at R & A Bender in Pleasant Hall. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and football and earlier in his life spent time hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon L. Perry Allen, whom he married April 18, 1984; his daughter, Stacey R. Thomas of Chambersburg; his son, Jeremy R. Allen and wife Becky of Orrtanna; and seven grandchildren, Haidyn, Hunter, Brooke, Robert, Elijah, Kaitlyn, and Madison. He is also survived by two sisters, Denise "Sue" Spadafora and husband John of Wrightsville and Rose Dull and husband Randy of Dover; his brother, Damian Allen and wife Carol of Spring Grove; and his step-mother, Donna Dillon of Fayetteville.. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas E. Allen, Jr. and Steven Allen.
A service to celebrate Patrick's life will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 15, 2021 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. James Moats will officiate. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
