Patrick Benedict "Trick" Ancrum

Patrick Benedict "Trick" Ancrum, entered eternal rest on May 6, 2022, at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. He was preceded in death by his mother, the late Clorinda Marie Johnson Ancrum, and his sister, Tracey Noelle Ancrum.
Patrick was born to the late Clorinda Marie Johnson Ancrum and Hampy Louis Ancrum, Jr. on September 6, 1968, in Fernandina Beach, Florida. He was educated in the Nassau County school system. As a youngster, Patrick was always a team player, as evident as he played sports starting with the Elm Street Little League.
As Patrick progressed through life, he found his passion in cooking and earned his culinary certificate from Florida State College Culinary Arts Program in Jacksonville, Florida. Upon graduating Patrick worked for numerous restaurants and hotels as a chef throughout Fernandina Beach, Jacksonville, and the Orlando areas.
Patrick was an "avid" Florida Gators Football fan and spent many Saturdays watching Gator football with family and friends, while preparing delicious seafood for his family to enjoy during the game.
Patrick's pride and Joy was his one and only son, Patrick L. Ancrum known as "Tweetie."
Patrick leaves behind his loving son, Patrick L. Ancrum; father, Hampy L. Ancrum Jr.; sister, Janice Ancrum; brothers: Kenneth Ancrum (Stephanie), Hampy L. Ancrum III, Theodore Ancrum, Terrance Ancrum (Carlette), Dewayne Peterson (Linda), Wayne Peterson (Serena), and Sean Ancrum; Godmother, Mable Russell; and a
host of loving nieces and nephews, family and friends, including special "caretaker" niece, Janeecee Johnson; and friends, Jeffery Holmes, Tyrone Wong, Robert "Bobby" Blue, Michael Blue, and Cyril Thomas.
A repast will be held immediately following services at the Janice Ancrum Senior Life Center (Nassau County Council on Aging) at 1901 Island Walk Way, Fernandina Beach, FL.
The funeral service for Patrick Bendict Ancrum "Trick" will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 21st, 2022 at the Bosque Bello Cemetery 1320 N. 14th Street FERNANDINA BEACH, FL 32034. The visitation will be 5-7 P.M., Friday, May 20th, 2022 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden Fernandina Beach 410 Beech St. Fernandina Beach, FL 32034. Interment in Bosque Bello Cemetery.
