Patrick Eugene Boren, a long time resident of Talala, Oklahoma, passed away on October 17th, 2024, at Hillcrest Hospital in Claremore, Oklahoma, at the age of 62.
Born on June 12th, 1962, to Leo Allen Boren and Betty Jane (Graves) Boren (both deceased), Patrick grew up in Nowata, Oklahoma, surrounded by his siblings: Louise (Boren) Fitzmaurice (deceased), Judy (Boren) Carrell of Bartlesville, Vicki Boren-Seever of Nowata, and Tom Boren of Eldorado, Kansas.
A 1980 graduate of Nowata High School, Patrick began his career at Nowata Printing at just 13 years old, eventually becoming lead pressman until the plant closed. He retired with years of valuable experience.
Patrick married Connie Forbes in June 1982, and they welcomed their son, Jeremy. After their divorce, Patrick married Barbara Duck in July 2007, lovingly embracing her two children as his own.
In the early 1990s, Patrick moved to Talala to embrace a country lifestyle and never left. He cherished his family, including Jeremy Boren and wife Welena-Phay along with their children; Jayson, Jude , Jeremyah , Kaya , and Jensen of Nowata, step son Joey Lagers and his two children of Claremore, and numerous others who affectionately called him "Pappy”.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on November 2nd, 2024, at the American Legion in Talala, Oklahoma. Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Bartlesville is handling arrangements. To leave online condolences, please visit www.honoringmemoriesbartlesville.com.
