Patrick J. Buckley

Patrick Buckley, 68, of Saranac, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025 at CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Plattsburgh on May 8, 1957 the son of Raymond and Della (LaFave) Buckley.

Patrick graduated from Saranac High School in 1976. He went on to work for excavation contractors Magee Blauvett in Orangeburg, NY and Billy Holstead in Stoney Point, NY for many years until he opened his own business P & L Landscaping. Patrick operated his business until he retired due to poor health. He also enjoyed hunting and camping.

Survivors include his daughters, Jessica Coyle of Virginia Beach, VA and Mellissa Gallon (Christian) of Lake Erie, PA; sisters, Patricia (Wesley) Smart and Elizabeth Buckley (Louie Tan); grandchildren, Aliana Coyle, Lila Coyle, Xavier Gallon, Cloud Gallon, and Phoenix Gallon; aunts, Velma Martin, Alice LaFave and Mary Buckley; one uncle, Charles Amrhein; and five nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Della; sister, Theresa Ann Buckley; and nephew, Jay Smart.

The family will greet guests on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 11:30 to 12:00pm at Church of the Assumption in Redford, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm.

Donations in memory of Patrick may be made to Church of the Assumption.
