Patrick Thomas Conway died after a very short battle with Merkle Cell Carcinoma in Carolina Shores, NC on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the age of 79.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Conway, Son, Patrick Conway of Beckley, WV and daughter Theresa Conway Garrison and her Husband Chris of Shallotte, NC. Granddaughter Courtney Garrison, Grandson Matthew Conway and Great granddaughter Kayleigh Allison. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, GiGi Pa, and Uncle. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Conway, Father Matthew K. Conway and brother Matthew H. Conway.

Patrick was born on February 27, 1939 in New York, NY to Mary and Matthew Conway. He married Sharon, his high school sweet heart on June 22, 1963.

He was the kindest, gentlest man and will forever be in our hearts.

In lieu of cards or flowers Patrick s family is asking that you make a donation to the Caring House, 2625 Pickett Road, Durham, NC 27705 or visit www.caringhouse.org.

Patrick s wishes were to be cremated and no services. He wanted you to remember him the way he lived. Full of life!
