Patrick C. Daugherty Sr.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick Daugherty Sr. He passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. A devoted father, brother, son, and nephew, Patrick's life was a testament to love, kindness, and unwavering support for those he cherished. Born to Andrew Daugherty Sr. and Mary Ann (Tischer) Daugherty, Patrick was a guiding light in the lives of his three sons, Cody Wood, Nathan Wood, and Patrick Daugherty Jr. He took immense pride in being a father, and his love and dedication to his family were evident in every aspect of his life. Patrick is also survived by his beloved parents, his brother Charles Daugherty, and his sister Amy Daugherty, along with his cherished nephews and nieces-Travis Pratt, Xavier Daugherty, Joel Daugherty, Meta Daugherty, Britoni Daugherty, and Brianna Daugherty. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Kelsey Wood, sister-in-law, Tanda (TY) Daugherty, and many other loving family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Patrick had a passion for life that shone through in everything he did. He enjoyed fishing, watching his favorite baseball and football teams-the New York Mets and the New York Giants-and going for walks. He found joy in playing games, often bringing laughter and camaraderie to family gatherings. His warm spirit and infectious laughter will live on in the memories of all who knew him. He was a Prince of Sassy remarks never afraid to tell you exactly what was on his mind. He inherited his mother's stubbornness and fought on for 3+ years after the Doctors told him he would die that week. Forever loved, forever missed. For most of his adult life, Patrick dedicated himself to Trayer Products, where he was known for his hard work and commitment. His colleagues admired him not only for his professional skills but also for his friendly demeanor and willingness to lend a helping hand. Patrick's legacy of love and compassion will be felt for generations to come. He will truly be missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. A memorial service to celebrate Patrick's life will be held on May 10th at 1:00 pm at 708 Benton Place where family and friends are invited to share their memories and honor this remarkable man. His Celebration of Life will include a cookout with a dish to pass as well.
