Patrick A. Doolittle, 58, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. The Evansville, Indiana native was born August 3, 1966, to the late John and Mary Jo Reising Doolittle. A proud “Westsider”, Patrick was a 1984 graduate of Mater Dei High School in Evansville. He had worked as an EMT at Boone Ambulance. He married his wife, Elaine Sayre Doolittle, on May 8, 1993, and moved to Owensboro. He was also employed at Subway and in food services at the Owensboro hospital.
In addition to his parents, Patrick also was preceded in death by his older brother, James, in 2010.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 32 years, Elaine Sayre Doolittle; three nieces, Jamie Kunz, Shannon Doolittle and Kathleen Doolittle; his sister-in-law, Mary Burton Doolittle Dust; and three aunts, Carolyn (David) Miller, Rosie Reising and Julie (Rick) Folz.
The memorial service will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, June 21 at St. John United Methodist Church with same day visitation from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the church.
