Born on August 2, 1958, in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of Patrick J. and Sallie Flanigan.
He was the loving father of Ryan (Amber) Flanigan, Kevin Flanigan, Eric (Nikki) Flanigan and Meaghan Flanigan; adored grandfather of Shane and Molly Flanigan; dear brother of Gerre Lorincy, Michael Flanigan, Sallie Kelley, and Tom Flanigan; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He loved playing basketball, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Family and friends are welcome on August 7, 2024 from 2-8 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. A Mass will be held on August 8, 2024 at 10:30 am at St. Catherine Labouré, St. Louise de Marillac Church, 320 McMurray Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15241.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brother's Brother Foundation or Habitat for Humanity.

Pat, my friend, I will miss you so much. We shared the same sense of humor and you always made me laugh. I will truly miss the text messages we would share when one of us was watching our favorite comedies. I know the faith you had in God, and the salvation promised by His son, Jesus Christ. I will see you again sometime my friend.
