Patrick Galati Obituary
Patrick Louis Galati, 97, of Pennington, NJ, entered into his eternal rest with the Lord on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Serenity Hospice at RWJ in Hamilton surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ on March 16, 1927 to parents, Michael and Josephine (Policare) Galati. Patrick was a retired bridge engineer who had been employed by Roebling, Delaval, and last by the State of NJ Department of Transportation.
Patrick was a World War II, US Navy veteran who served in Okinawa. He was a hardworking family man. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and watching movies. Patrick was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
Son of the late Michael and Josephine (Policare) Galati; husband of the late Mary Ellen (Jacko) Galati; brother of the late Victoria Maio, and Frank "Chick" Galati. Patrick is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and David Erkoboni; his two granddaughters, Dr. Danielle Erkoboni-Wilbur and husband Dr. Christopher Wilbur, and Lauren and husband Andrew Bigler; four great-grandchildren, Addison, Violet, Cooper, and Emerson; a brother, Anthony "Tony" Galati and wife Nancy; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Rd., Lawrenceville, NJ.
