I had the pleasure of working with Pat at DCFS for many years, first as a co-worker then as his supervisor. He was very passionate about serving children and families. He loved his family so much and often bragged about his grandchildren. Even after he retired he kept in touch and he still called me "boss." He was truly happy in Arizona. He will be greatly missed. Sending prayers to the family.
