1942 - 2023
Dayville - Patrick T. Hourihan, 80, of Dayville, passed away September 26, 2023, at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the loving husband of Arlene (Levesque) Hourihan. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Mulrain) Hourihan.
Mr. Hourihan owned and ran Nash's Garden Center in Danielson for 40 years, retiring in 2007. He was also United States Army Veteran and received an honorable discharge after his time in the service. Patrick was a member of St. James Church in Danielson, CT and the Knights of Columbus.
Patrick is survived by daughter, Rebecca Hourihan and her husband Jesse Stokes of San Diego, CA; brother, Michael (Rita) Hourihan of Southington, CT; sister, Mary (Carl) Milewski of Naples, FL; granddaughter, Julianna of San Diego, CA.
Patrick is predeceased by brother, Arthur (Arline) Hourihan, sister, Helen (Bill) Hourihan, sister, Louise (Robert) Roberts.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Patrick's family from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 6, 2023, in Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church Street, Putnam, CT. A funeral mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 11:30am at St. James Church 12 Franklin St., Danielson, CT. Burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery Danielson, CT. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. James Church in Danielson, CT. For memorial guestbook visit www. GilmanAndValade.com
