Patrick Lagasse, 77, of Southington, formerly of New Britain, entered into eternal rest, Saturday September 16, 2006 at John Dempsey in Farmington. He was born in Upper Frenchville, ME, son of the late Joseph and Hedwige Bourgoin Lagasse, and was a resident of Southington for the last 18 years, formerly living in New Britain. He was the beloved husband Lois Paulson Lagasse. Patrick was formerly employed by the Emhart Corporation, division of Black & Decker, for 34 years, until his retirement in 1991 and also served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Franco-American War Veterans Post #26 and The St. Jean de Baptiste Societe, all in New Britain. Besides his wife Lois, he is survived by two daughters, Diane Renaud, and Linda Morin and her husband Michael all of Southington; a son, Gary Lagasse and his wife Rosanne of Bristol; two grandchildren, Michael Morin, Christine Morin and many nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday September 19, 2006 from the Burritt Hill Funeral Home 332 Burritt St. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Church, New Britain. Internment, with military honors, will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call TODAY, Monday, from 5 ' 8 pm at Burritt Hill.
