Patrick Lage
April 23, 1952-May 29, 2023
We bid farewell to a man whose life was one of selflessness and love. Patrick Lage, born on April 23, 1952, in Rock Island, IL, was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who passed on May 29, 2023, in Virginia Beach, VA.
Patrick's career was a reflection of his hard work and dedication. He rose through the ranks at Geifmans to become a manager. He then spent seventeen years at AD Huesing for Pepsi, rising through the ranks to become a Vice President. He ended his career as a Senior Regional Director for Executive Career Partners. But his true passions lay beyond his work. Patrick was an avid reader, a lover of the St. Louis Cardinals, and a devoted walker, training for a half marathon in his later years. Above all else, he cherished spending time with his children and grandkids.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Terri Lage, his children Ryan (Amy) Lage, Lisa (Aaron) Sherman, Kevin Lage, Nathan (Toni) Lage, his grandchildren Carson, Kristen, Abigail, Amelia, and four siblings. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold, mother, Joyce, and sister, Megan.
We will come together to celebrate Patrick's life at Modern Woodmen Park on June 26 at 5:30 PM. As we reflect on the beauty of a life well-lived, we ask that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, a cause that Patrick held dear to his heart.

I am sorry for everyone loss!!! The Lage´s were the best neighbors and I have great memories growing up next door to them. Playing basketball and hanging out.

My heart is filled with countless happy memories as child and teen with Patrick as my step-dad when we would play lots of tennis together, enjoy long discussions about life, go out for peanut butter cup malts, and so much more. I'll never forget the countless days that he woke up really early to serve at the local soup kitchen before heading off to a long hard day at work. He always worked SO HARD and really cared about his community. I am thankful for these very happy memories and important ways that he shaped my life.
