Patrick R. Lowin

Patrick Lowin was born September 27th, 1991 in Yankton, SD to Tom and Lynda (Wing) Lowin. He grew up in Blunt with his brother Ben and sister Suzy. While growing up, he enjoyed being active in 4H, Farmer's Union, and rabbit club. He was a 2010 graduate of Sully Buttes High School and went on to complete a Bachelor Degree of Science in Horticulture at South Dakota State University. While at SDSU he was active with the Horticulture Club and Viniculture research.
After graduation, Patrick worked in construction, landscaping, and at a Nursery. He was passionate about plants and an expert in the art of hunting the illusive morel mushroom with successes by the pound. Patrick loved kayaking, frolfing, and being surrounded by nature. He was loving, giving, and family oriented. He was a dedicated uncle to his nieces and nephew and loved making them laugh. His creativity and imagination were unparalleled. Patrick's quirky sense of humor was guaranteed to make you smile.
He was a devoted pup dad to his beloved Lexington. He was preceded in death by grandparents Betty and Adolph Lowin and Patty Wing, aunt Rose Lowin, and uncles Bill and Boom Lowin.
A Memorial Open House/Visitation with family present will be held 5:00-7:00pm, Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Feigum Funeral Home.
Private family services and burial will take place at a later date.
