Patrick Murtha Obituary
Born in Brooklyn, NY; he was the son of the late Patrick and Bridgett Murtha. Patrick was in the United States Army driving semi trucks hauling jet fuel in Germany and North Carolina. He worked as a motion picture film editor for CBS until he retired. He was a skilled craftsman, expert carpenter and furniture maker. He had a dark room for his photography and extensive train layout. Gardening was his passion! The last year his yield from the garden was 300+ pounds of vegetables.
Patrick will be lovingly remembered by his children, Patrick Murtha and his wife, Holly, and Dawn and her husband, Garry, his grandson, Christopher, nieces Elaine and Rita and his beloved dog, Buddy.
Patrick was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Murtha, of 63 years, by his twin children; Sean Edward and Kim Ann.
All funeral services have been handled privately at the request of the family.

Patrick, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
