Patrick Joseph Rodecker

Patrick Joseph Rodecker passed away on September 4, 2024 at 44 years of age.

Born December 21,1979 to Bill and Gail (Zapapas) Rodecker, he is survived by his former wife Catherine and his two daughters Isabelle and Madison. Also surviving are his siblings Amy Sager (Mike), Bradley Rodecker (Danielle), Michael Rodecker (Ashley), and ten nephews and nieces.

 He graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins Colorado in restaurant and hotel management.

 Patrick began employment in the hospitality industry with Hyatt, first in Chicago and then in Denver as he had begun to love the mountains. During those years, he became acquainted with people in the metals industry and soon switched career paths accordingly. The following years found Patrick becoming expert in metallurgy and he thrived in the metals industry with The Joseph Company, as he moved to Texas and began a family. In a subsequent move to the Dallas area Patrick worked for Bell Helicopter.

 Patrick had multiple interests and developed capabilities in leather making, woodworking and furniture crafting which he shared with friends and family.

 Since childhood, Patrick loved being with other people. His warmth allowed him to build meaningful relationships with people from all walks of life. He built a cadre of friends everywhere he went.

 Patrick’s faith in God grew over the years, and he was an active participant at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship church in Dallas.

 A funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Monday, September 16th, 2024 at Holy Spirit at Geist Catholic church (10350 Glaser Way, Fishers, IN, 46037).

Family and friends are invited to gather from 9:30am until the Mass begins on Monday, September 16th, at Holy Spirit at Geist Catholic church.

 In life, Patrick supported our US military as keepers of freedom. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
