Dean A. Frank, age 71, of Carmel, Indiana passed away on February 2, 2026.

Dean was born in Noblesville, at the Riverview Hospital, on September 13, 1954. Dean was the oldest of three children, born to Cleo and Mildred Frank of Carmel, IN.

Dean graduated from Carmel High School in 1973. Dean was a natural at playing the catcher for the Carmel High school baseball team. He sampled the life of college at Ball State University but decided instead to become the Fuel oil manager of the Carmel Crystal Flash from 1974-1989. He married the love of his life, Rhonda in 1978. They made their home in Indianapolis then Carmel where they began their family.

Dean had a variety of skills and interests. He started pipefitting in 1989 then got his plumbing license in 1996. He stayed with plumbing until 2008. He wanted a change and switched to being a long -haul semi driver for many different companies from 2008 until 2024.

Dean was an avid sports enthusiast for sure. He enjoyed the Cincinnati Reds with Johnny Bench being his idle. He loved to watch the Colts, Pacers, and NASCAR type auto racing. He was a proud family man, loved making Sunday dinner and having everyone over. He loved to fish and being outside.

Dean is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rhonda (Gordon) Frank, Children: Rachel Frank, Scott Frank (Ashley Wolverton), 6 grandchildren, Sister, Denise (Frank) Wade and Brother, Doug Frank.

Preceded in death are his parents, Cleo and Mildred Frank and Daughter, Rebecca Frank

His legacy will be cherished by all of loved ones. A celebration of life will be held in his honor at a later date.
