Patrick W. Segner passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Fredericksburg, Texas on December 6, 1949 to Robert Otto Segner, Sr. and Louise Kramer Segner.
Patrick was a proud member of the Texas A&M University Class of 1972 and Corps of Cadets. Upon his graduation, he was commissioned into the United States Army, serving his country and promoting to the rank of Captain. He later returned to San Antonio with his bride, where together they raised a family and he worked for HB Zachry Construction for over 38 years, serving in numerous roles, including project management.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Louise Segner, brother Andrew James “Jimmy” Segner, sister Annette Segner Nagel, and granddaughter Amy Cline.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Segner; daughters Angie Segner Kruljac and Brenda Segner Cline and her husband Robert Cline; grandchildren Mason Kruljac, Austin Kruljac, Caleb Martin, Robyn Cline Dedon and her husband Michael Dedon, and Anthony Cline; great-grandchildren Graysen Dedon and Rylee Dedon; brother Robert Segner, Jr. and his wife Suzanne Segner; brother-in-law Larry Nagel and sister-in-law Sharon Ainsworth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial for Patrick will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026 beginning at 11am at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapel, located at 14315 Judson Rd, San Antonio, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network).org) in his memory.
