Patrick Hardin Slawson, age 49, stepped into Heaven to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior, Jesus on October 27, 2022, at Oklahoma City, Okla. Cremation under the care of Griffin ~ Hillcrest Crematory. Funeral services will be held at a later date.
Patrick was born on October 12, 1973 at Ardmore, Okla., to Donald Slawson and Sonya (Patrick) Slawson. He attended Springdale & Dickson Schools where he received his GED. He went on to attend Eastern Oklahoma College in Wilburton, Okla. in general studies. After college, Patrick moved back to Ardmore where he began his career as a cook, best known for working at Bills Catfish, Huddle House, Cotton Patch and was the manager at Denny's. He loved to garden, work on electronics and could fix anyone's phone or computer. He was a flea market hunter, always looking for the best deal. Patrick was an avid Star Wars fan and loved Chevy trucks; his own car was named Dixie. Patrick loved animals but his best friend was his ferret called Rikki Tikki.
He was preceded in death by father, Donald Slawson, maternal grandparents, Clarence and Mattie Patrick, paternal grandparents, John and Bessie Slawson, and cousin, Colby Kesler.
Patrick is survived by his mother, Sonya Slawson, son, Nick Cox, daughters, Megan Coffman of Lone Grove and Shelbi Robinson of Madill, granddaughters, Braylin and Mattie, grandsons, Michael and Liam and a host of family and friends.
