Patrick Charles Yurasek

Patrick Charles Yurasek, age 80, passed away January 19th in Richmond, Texas. He was born October 25th, 1945, in Newark, New Jersey, a son to the late Frank Augustus and Mary Branch Yurasek.

Pat grew up in Quakertown, Pennsylvania alongside his three siblings, Frank, Kathy, and Mary. He graduated from Notre Dame University in 1967 then served in the United States Air Force and separated in 1970 as a Captain. Pat's time in the Air Force brought him to lifelong friends and the woman who would become his wife, Janet Mallory Yurasek. Pat and Jan settled in Richmond, Virginia; Oakland, California; and Richmond, Texas. He worked in sales for the better part of his professional life, fitting perfectly with his sharp wit and way with words.

In addition to his parents, Pat is preceded in death by his sister, Mary. He is survived by his wife, Jan; three sons, Daniel, Christiopher, and Justin; seven grandchildren, Caleb, Reagan, Catherine, Maya, Addison, Patrick, and Audrey; brother, Frank; and sister, Kathy.

A memorial service celebrating Pat's life will be Sunday, February 1, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Episcopal Church in Richmond, Texas.
