Patsy Baggett Obituary
The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28th at Lunn's Colonial. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 29th at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Pursley officiating. Graveside services are to follow at Crestview Memorial Park (Mausoleum) under the direction of Lunn's Colonial.
A daughter of late Nadine (McShan) and Marvin Lee Baggett, Patsy was born on April, 7, 1936, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Patsy spent her adult life fiercely advocating for abused and neglected children. The child advocacy center in Wichita Falls called Patsy's House was named for her. Patsy was honored for her diligent work with numerous commendations. Patsy also loved watching her nieces and nephews in their various activities as they were growing up.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Baggett, Nephews Rodney Trammell and Keith Trammell.
She is survived by her sister Shirley Trammell and her husband Richard. Two nieces, Denise Franciso (Larry) and Renee Behne (Billy); three great nephews and one great niece as well as four great, great nieces. Patsy was also dearly loved by her cousins and many friends.
