Joyce Lemond Obituary
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16 at Lunn's Chapel with Rev. Norman Rushing officiating. Private interment will follow at Post Oak Cemetery in Jack County under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.
A daughter of the late Audria Belle (Brooks) and Ota Jack Long, Joyce was born April 3, 1931, in Jack County. Joyce was a 1948 graduate of Jacksboro High School. Joyce married Howard Lemond on March 26, 1958. She loved to attend gospel singings and loved to sing. She also enjoyed going to garage sales, playing 42, eating out with friends and traveling.
Along with her parents, Joyce was also preceded in death by her husband; and son, Phillip.
She is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
