Dian Lemond Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Dian Lemond. Dian Lemond was born in Modesto, California on September 24th, 1957. She passed away in Lubbock, Texas on July 12th, 2025 at the age of 67. During her life she graduated Douglas County High School in 1975. She then went on to have over 30 years of service with AT&T before her retirement in 2019. In life, Dian Lemond was known for her strength. The strength by which she loved the Lord, the strength of the love which she bore her family, , her strength of character, the strength she exuded in her daily walk through life, and the strength she passed on by example to her two daughters.
Dian Lemond is survived by her son-in-law and daughter, Chris and Shara Hoover, and their son Cody Hoover. She is also survived by her daughter LaChell Lemond.
A celebration of Life will be held for Dian Lemond Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 2 to 4 PM at the Combest Family Funeral Home Chapel.
In her passing, we are reminded of the words of Joshua 1:9, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord, your God, is with you wherever you go."
