Patsy Kay Bowman

Patsy "Pat" Kay Bowman crossed over to be with Jesus on Monday April 25, 2022, at 11:41 AM, in her home in Iberia, MO, where she was surrounded by her family and friends. After a brief illness, Pat had succumbed to pneumonia. She was born on July 6, 1942, at Lebanon, in Laclede County, to Henry Bowman and Dorothy (Bolien-Bowman) Jeffery as their first-born child of four girls. She is survived by her sisters, Maridonna Emmett and husband, Val, of Chester, VA, Joyce Simpson and husband, Jim, of Stockbridge, GA, and Ellen Jones and husband, Jim, of Iberia, MO; her Aunt Gretta of Mt. Vernon, MO, and her very best friend, Erma Johnson, of Dixon, MO. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Pat's kind heart and beautiful spirit touched everyone she met, and people were drawn to her. She never married but loved her family and friends beyond measure.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Bowman on March 25, 1968, and Dorothy Jeffery November 26, 2015, along with many aunts and uncles.
Pat gave her life to Christ at an early age, and she was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church, near Dixon, MO.
She loved sending cards and writing letters to her family and friends. Pat spent time cutting out recipes to send to her cousin and finding articles to send to her Aunt Gretta. In her earlier days, she loved baking cookies, cakes, and black bottom cupcakes for her family and friends which they all loved and enjoyed. We know Pat is in heaven baking in her mansion's big kitchen. She was a really big Cardinal fan from childhood as she would listen to the games on the radio with her daddy and loved to watch the games on the TV as well. Pat will be missed by all those that knew and loved her so very much.
Visitation for Patsy Kay Bowman will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2022, in Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 105 East Street, Dixon, MO 65459, with her funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Arthur Gormley officiating.
Interment will be near her parents in Jim-Matt Lawson Cemetery, Maries County, Dixon, MO, under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon, MO. Pallbearers for Pat will be Eric Bartolini, James Simpson, Jay Jones, Steve Relli, Tom Bartolini, and Zeb Jones.
