Cathy Hunter Obituary

Cathy was a single mom raising her three children, Cara Harker, Jessica Hunter, and James Hunter. She loved baking, cooking, and especially loved her animals including her dog, Isabella. Her granddaughter, Brooklyn said "she made the best cooked chicken".
Those left to mourn the passing of Cathy include: her three children, Cara Harker (Ashley), Dixon, Jessica Hunter (Josh), Leon, Iowa, and James Hunter, Springfield; sister, Anna Haney, Waynesville; seven grandchildren, Brittany Shelton, Dixon, Zackary Brant, state of Vermont, Gracie Brant, Warrensburg, Makayla Jones, Dixon, Brooklyn Haney, Dixon, Jaxston and Lander Hunter, state of Iowa; nephews; nieces; and other relatives and friends.
Cathy was preceded in death by her mother, Emmajean Bartlett and stepfather, Leonard Bartlett; father, William Albert Earlin; brother, William H. Earlin; sister-in-law Barb Earlin, and brother-in-law Gene Haney.
Visitation for Cathy Hunter will be held from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2024, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home Chapel, 105 East Third St., Dixon, MO 65459.
Memorials in memory of Cathy are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the funeral home or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box EE, Dixon, MO 65459.
