Patsy Lee Terry Fletcher, 76, of Cowpens, passed away on Sunday afternoon, March 24, 2024, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Patsy was born on April 18, 1947, in the Arcadia Community of Spartanburg, a daughter of the late Nancy Katherine Barker Terry and James Wesley Terry. Patsy was married to the late Carson Lee Fletcher for 59 years.
She was a member of Trinity Church of Una and enjoyed serving others by singing with her husband at area nursing homes. Patsy retired from Barnet Southern and was a longtime employee of Hoescht-Celanese Corporation.
Patsy is survived by her daughter, Nancy Branton of Chesnee, SC; her sons, James C. Fletcher (Debbie) of Cowpens, and Ronnie Fletcher of Boiling Springs; her six grandchildren, Joe Fletcher, Lisa Branton, Timothy Branton, William Lee Fletcher, Annamaria Fletcher and Autumn Fletcher; and her 7 great-grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, Patsy was predeceased by her siblings, Earline Terry, Grady M. Terry, and James Thomas Terry.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Floyd’s North Church Street Chapel, 235 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. A graveside service will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Springhill Memorial Gardens, 1011 South Alabama Avenue, Chesnee, SC 29323, conducted by the Rev. Eddie Arrington and the Rev. Kenneth Cash.
The family will be at the home of her son, Ronnie Fletcher in Boiling Springs, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
