A Celebration of Life Service for Patsy Hearne, 73 of Salsibury, Md. will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel in Corinth. Visitation will be from noon until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Interment will follow at Farmington Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Jonathan Beall will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be David O. Hearne, Victor Hearne, Travis Epperson, David M. Hearne, David Banks and Ray Bentley.
Mrs. Hearne passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2026 surrounded by her family at home.
Born on May 7, 1952 in Corinth, to Billy Hugh and Shirley Marie Burcham. Patsy was known for her warm smile, compassionate heart, and her love for her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a devoted and loving wife to James Lee Hearne, sharing over 53 years of marriage filled with laughter, love and travel. Patsy loved all animals, and in recent years Gemma, her English Shepherd, was a source of love and joy. She loved wildflowers, her farm, and beautiful, sunny days.
As a mother, she was the cornerstone of her family, cherishing and praying for her children and grandchildren. She created a nurturing, Christian home filled with gardening, baking, music, educating her children and laughter. She was always there to offer guidance, support, a shoulder to cry on and prayer without ceasing. Patsy accepted Christ as a very young girl and was baptized at Farmington Baptist Church in Corinth.
Patsy is survived by her loving husband, James Lee Hearne; her children, Jennifer (Ray) Bentley of Olive Branch, Alissa (David) Banks of Hebron, Md., Jamie (Jonathan) Beall of Bunker Hill, W.Va., David (Kristin) Hearne of Delmar, Md., and Krista (Joseph) Schrider of Salisbury, Md.; her grandchildren Kailee, Ava and Dax Bentley, Clara and Nora Banks, Caroline and Isaac Beall, Noah, Gracie and Emmett Hearne, Emma, Ella, Emelia and Elissa Brooks, Rowan, Lily and Bella Schrider and Gavin Shockley; her sisters, Dianne Daniel of Iuka, Joyce Smith of Corinth; plus many brothers and sisters in love and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Shirley Burcham; her mother and father-in-law, Herbert and Laurabel Hearne, and her sister, Rita Simpson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Samaritan's Purse or Compassion International, organizations close to her heart.
Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Patsy Ann Hearne.
