Patsy Heritz, 80, of Stevensville passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, at A Place Called Home in Stevensville.
A celebration of life service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 2673 W. John Beers Road, Stevensville, with the Rev. Jesse Knox officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Township Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday at the church. Memorial donations in Patsy's name may be made to" A Place Called Home." Those wishing to sign Patsy's memory book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.
Pasty was born on March 10, 1943, in Benton Harbor to William and Ivia (Broughton) Burns. She graduated from Vicksburg High School, Class of 1961. On June 24, 1961, she married Oscar Heritz at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stevensville. Patsy devoted her life to caring for her family and their home, and was a life-long member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Patsy cherished the time spent with her family and many friends, and enjoyed beautiful summer days with the grandchildren around Gi Gi's pool.
Patsy is survived by her husband, Oscar; her children: Alan (Kathy) Heritz, Jeff Kowerduck, Gidget (Tod) Kretchman, Mike (Jackie) Myers, Tracy (Rob) Sanders; grandchildren: Jennifer (Kevin) Schoonbeck, Stephanie (Adam) Robson, Allison (Dan) Mashke, Zak (Cori) Kretchman, Kali (Dan) Bartschke; great-grandchildren who referred to her as "Gi Gi": McKenzie, Bubbie, Haylee, Remi, Lyssa, Drew, Payson, Koyer, Kodi, Finley, Henry, Jack and Abigail.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters: Bea Luttrell and Faye Sliter.

So sorry to hear of Pats passing. My sincerest sympathy to Oscar and the family at this most sad time. What a sweet girl she was when I know her in school.
